San Francisco Travel
For more than 100 years the San Francisco Travel Association has worked on behalf of its partners to promote San Francisco as the destination of choice for conventions and leisure travel. The Association is an outgrowth of the San Francisco Convention and Tourist League, a non-profit, local business association founded in 1909 to reclaim the City’s position as a world-class destination in the wake of the devastating 1906 earthquake and fire. San Francisco Travel continues that mission today, aggressively marketing and selling San Francisco to attract visitors. San Francisco Travel is a private, not-for-profit, 501(c)6 membership organization, headed by a Board of Directors made up of 45 business leaders from various companies, elected by the membership.
In a few words, sfBIG is the premier organization for connecting with the interactive community in the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond. Since 2004 we’ve been bringing brands, agencies, and publishers together for networking and educational events.
San Francisco Citizens Initiative for Technology and Innovation (sf.citi) is a 501(c)6 organization created to leverage the power of the technology community around civic action in San Francisco. sf.citi supports innovative policies and works collaboratively with government to find new solutions to historic problems facing San Francisco, and consolidate a voice in promotion of tech sector interests and growth.

OpenCoSF is a new kind of conference-as-festival, where technology companies will open their doors for networking & discussion-based salons that aim to share the story of what being in SF means, the vision of the how the business got started, and why it’s a disruptive force in the industry. Host companies and participants will be local organizations and international executives from across technology, media, and public service organizations that are convening here in October to help the city celebrate and brand the inaugural Innovation Month.

We meet to do business and discuss, in a proactive, conducive to dealmaking environment.
UP: San Francisco
UP explores how participatory design, art, and technology can improve cities. Each Urban Prototyping Festival uses its own strategy to uniquely address that city’s specific circumstances – soliciting, testing, and deploying projects with high potential for impact.
